About Us

History

Fairwood P.S. opened its doors in 2001, and over the years, students, staff, and the community have created a culture of excellence, engagement, and inclusivity.  Students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 participate in a wide range of activities, including sports teams, grand-scale musical productions, reading and chess clubs, robotics competitions, and fund raising campaigns for cancer research and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.  At the heart of what we do is a focus on learning and a commitment to ensuring that all children receive the caring, expert support they need to reach their potential for social, emotional, and academic growth.

Facilities

Fairwood P.S. was officially opened in December of 2001.

This building is wheelchair accessible with ramps coming into the building, as well as a lift that can be accessed from the 2nd floor and wheelchair accessible washrooms.
